In a specially equipped area in front of the temple of the Holy God Builders all interested residents of the area and the guests could plunge into the artificial baptismal font. In the morning of the January 18, Metropolitan Kirill of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye held a service and consecrated the water.

On the eve of the Epiphany the All-night vigil and confession were held, and after that the Divine Liturgy and the Blessing of Water was begun by the Metropolitan Kirill of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye.

According to the correspondent of the “Federal Press”, who was near the temple with the congregation that night, several tents in which there are baptismal fonts with wooden railings and gangplank equipped on the square. The heating item runs smoothly – you can change clothes and drink hot tea.

Local residents thanked the organizers of the forum: “Excellent baptismal font. Everything is comfortably, safely. I thank the organizers for the conditions created and the participants for a wonderful ‘spirit”“.

The guests of the Academia City also were glad to participate: “These fonts are the closest to the civilization, they can be reached by foot really. There is a minimal level of services: dressing rooms, stoves and fan heaters inside tents. Repetition of the rite of baptism in this case is maximally simplified: easy entry and exit of the font, which is nothing more than rooted to the spot and fortified pool.
